Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship:

The Department of Crop Science in partnership with Inno-Sci, Norway  is organizing a Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship programme  for its National Service Personnel. The aim of this programme is to equip budding entrepreneurs with the skills needed to start their own business or grow their already established businesses.

The programme which will be held online will kick off this Thursday January 27, 2022 at 5 pm for an hour and subsequently on the last Wednesday and Thursday of each month from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Some topics to be covered during the training include -  Entrepreneurial Mindset/ Design thinking, Idea Generation, Pitch Training Day, Business Model Concepts (Strategize). Participants will have the opportunity to interact with Entrepreneurs from businesses. At the end of the programme, participants are expected to become innovative, self-sufficient and enterprising.

iNNO-SCI offers innovative, scientific, technological and entrepreneurial training programs for young people, women, and businesses. They also have collaboration with key partners such as Amazon Web Services Restart, and they support companies and organizations to achieve the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable development goals (SDG’s), 1, 4, 8 & 10.
