LAUNCH YOUR TECH CAREER
AWS re/start is a free 12 week bootcamp to kickstart your career in tech as a Cloud Support Practitioner. In collaboration with Amazon Web Services and Inno-Sci. Starts on 02nd January 2024.
You don’t need any existing experience or qualifications to be part of this programme – hear more about the programme below.
Through hands-on interactive sessions, you’ll learn technical,
behavioural and mindset skills to prepare you to launch a career in the cloud.
AWS re/Start is a free, full-time skills development program to jump-start your career working in cloud computing. A technology background is not required to apply and the program is focused on unemployed and underemployed individuals. AWS re/Start is organized as part of the INNO-SCI Cloud Computing and Full Stack Program.
THE COURSE CONSTRUCTION
PHASE 1
Focus on IT core areas such as Linux, networking, security, Python programming and database.
PHASE 2
Focus on AWS 'core services such as Cloud Economics, Global Infrastructure, Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, Cloud Architecture & Security.
PHASE 3
Focus on AWS services from an operational point of view such as Tooling and Automation, Computing-Scaling and Servers & Computing-Database-Services.
GLOBAL CERTIFICATION
After a successful course, the candidates qualify to take the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam. Subsequently, candidates will be ready to start in their new position such as Supporter, Junior Developer, Solutions Architect and Enterprise Architect.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
- Aged 20+ years old
- Not in education, training or employed for more than 15 hrs per week.
- Anyone with a minimum high school diploma
- Can demonstrate your interest in a career in technology
- Resident of Norway with C1 level in English and Norsk B1
- You are legally entitled to live and work in Norway
- You are interested in a career in IT and are able to show it
- You can set aside time for a 12-week intensive course (Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 16.00).
- You must be able to pass a logical and mathematical test prior to admission to the course
- You have computer equipment and stable internet
- You are ready to start working immediately after the course if you are given the opportunity
